I've got a couple of telescoping masts, but the clamps are corroded and shot and I can't find a source for new ones on-line. Must I drill-and-pin, and use hose clamps to jury rig them? I hate it when all that aluminum suddenly descends from 40' and I'm standing on a step ladder in harm's way. (I do wear a hard hat when in such a position, but still ...)
I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

There has to be a way to restore old telescoping masts to portable operation after the clamps are shot ...
