My name is Somayeh Malekpour.I study electrical engineering in Iran.
My thesis is about investigation of ground effect on the antenna performance and designing the optimum
ground system for horizontal halfwave dipole and vertical quarter wavelenght monopole.
I have many problems about horizontals and their ground systems.
In fact I dont know many about effects of ground,soil condition and height,... on the horizontals located
above ground in detail and I dont understand why horizontals dont need radials such as verticals.
In Iran we have only old and finite books about antennas and for this reason I cant find many
information.could you pleas help me?I will be very thankful.
